Peshawar: Peshawar witnessed the distribution of sweets as the Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) received his verdict and was subsequently arrested.
It should be noted that the PTI Chairman has been sentenced to three years in prison and a five-year disqualification in the Toshakhana case. After the verdict, he was apprehended from his residence at Zaman Park, Lahore.

The detailed judgment of the PTI Chairman’s sentence was also released. The Additional Session Judge, Humayun Dallawar, issued a four-page decision stating that the defense did not provide any evidence for the case to be heard. The pleas based on May 5th and July 8th arguments were rejected, and the complainant provided conclusive evidence related to the case.
After the court’s sentencing, there was an expression of joy from the members of the Awami National Party (ANP), Pakistan Peoples Party, and other political parties in Peshawar, and sweets were distributed.
The workers of the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI) also celebrated by distributing sweets, while the parties affiliated with the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) hailed the verdict as a triumph of justice.
