Selection Procedure

- Intelligence Test followed by Academic Test in specific subjects

- Flying Aptitude Test (FAT) for General Duty Pilot candidates
- Interview by AHQ Special Selection Board for CSC candidates
- Final selection by Air Headquarters based on merit
Ineligibility Conditions
A candidate is ineligible if:
- Previously rejected by 155B/GHQ/NHO/AHO
- Twice rejected by 1958 for Post Grad Entry
- Twice rejected by 1558 for PMA/Graduate Equivalent
- Thrice screened out by Army Navy Air Force selection boards
- Dishonorably discharged from Government Services
- Convicted in a Court of Law for a serious offense
- Permanently declared unfit by Appeal Medical Board (except Hepatitis B&C)
- Expelled from any bonded Armed Forces college/institution
